This reef just keeps on going! I love the way the depth of field looks like the mountains blend into the ocean.
People looking like ants, coral glistening in the sun, with a handful stunning bommies in the distance. This aerial flat-lay photograph really makes you feel a million miles away.
Mackay Cay is stunning on a clear day like this. We were lucky enough to have the lightest of winds and near glass out a few weeks back. Only a few hours north of Port Douglas, this spot is well worth the trip!
The Low Isles in Port Douglas is a breeding ground of Terns over the summer season. These guys migrate north to the tropics to breed and wow, do they make this island their own! They fly around the island all day long, playing in the wind and catching their lunch along the way.
I found this stunning big, bird hanging out on the edge of a bushwalking track on a day trip to Cape Tribulation. He was foraging, eating purple berries and generally being awesome. I thought he looked like a Kevin :)
Watching its gills flutter underwater was a sight to behold. It’d chill out for a minute, get a clean from the surrounding fishes and then cut a quick lap back to its special spot on the Bommie.
Sea Turtle Fine Art Photography from Fitzroy Island. Stunning, vibrant turquoise colours from the reef on a perfect day in tropical paradise.
Free diving down to get to know the little Nemo’s, I got the chance to meet the family and get a few close up, wide angle photos of the happy family in their home.
Floating through the currents in the coral gardens on Lady Elliot Island, this stunning sea turtle and I got to know each other quite well. The ripples in the surface of the sea give an almost Monet like texture to the water.
